1968
Gimmo Etro founded the business in Milan. Fabric quality and inventive prints established the company before it expanded into a complete wardrobe.
1981
Etro introduced the paisley motif that would become closely associated with the house. Its textile archive supplied a resource for continual reinterpretation.
2022
Marco De Vincenzo’s appointment brought a fresh emphasis on texture and construction. Bags such as the Vela explore form as well as the patterned surfaces associated with Etro.
