Privacy policy
What we store, what we don't.
The Monogram collects the minimum data needed to run the site. Our policy is straightforward: no third-party tracking, no behavioral ads, no selling data.
What we store
- Click logs — when you click an outbound link, we log (bag id, retailer, region, your country-level location) plus a salted SHA-256 hash of your IP. We never store raw IPs. The hash lets us count unique visitors without identifying anyone.
- Newsletter signups — email + signup timestamp, if you subscribe. You can unsubscribe with one click from any newsletter we send.
- Server logs — Render (our hosting provider) keeps standard access logs. We don't add custom logging beyond what they retain.
What we don't store
- Names, addresses, payment info, or browsing history outside The Monogram
- Third-party advertising cookies (we don't run ads)
- Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any cross-site tracker
Affiliate cookies
When you click an outbound affiliate link, the destination retailer may set their own cookies on your browser to attribute the sale to us. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's privacy policy, not ours. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to request a copy of any data we hold about you and to ask us to delete it. Email privacy@themonogram.co with the email address you used to subscribe (if applicable). We respond within 30 days.
